Is it normal for my six line wrasse to be hitting the bottom or walls of my aquarium when he swims?

If he is new to your tank, yes this is common for many fish However if he has been in there for a while there could be a number of Things wrong including internal parasites. Check his eyes and head as wellas his body to see if there are any signs of outward parasites. Also, your water params? What do they look like?
If it is a constant happening and not just every now and then, it could be from internal parasites. I
No it’s not, can you see any little white specs on the body/tail/fin?
He might need treating with Marine cure for saltwater ick?? The spots stand out best under ‘blue moon’ light - ‘twilight’ conditions.
generally no, there must be an issue, generally even new fish will not do this, six line wrasse are very active fishes but they dont usually swim into the glass.
check back in a few days to make sure it isnt still doing this if it is a new fish.
