Strange orange circular Icon in task bar does nothing?

22 July 2009 Comments

It appears at bottom of screen as if there’s a program open. When I run task manager (CTL+ALT+DEL) nothing appears to be open. It doesn’t go away at reboot, nothing found on Virus Scan. Computer seems to run fine, but this weird icon is open at the bottom of the screen. Looks like two horizontal lines at base and then a scalloped (or flames) circular motion clockwize that swirls into itself? It’s an orange color. Any idea what this is or how to get rid of it?

either you have mozzila firefox open, or its windows updates… try downloading spybot s&d from download . com and installing it, go into the tools section on the left of the program, go windows startup, and see if there is any "bad" files loading up on windows startup..
    hope i helped
