Will a coral beauty angel and a flame angel get along?

16 November 2008 Comments

I have a 55 gallon… live rock…all the goodies…
I know they are semi aggressive…just wondering if anyone has done it. Other tank mates…sailfin tang, pair-tomato clowns, lawnmower blenny, skunk dottyback, snowflake morey eel(very small and yes he will have a tank to himself when he gets bigger) , and I am hunting for a fire hawkfish.

MY BF HAS LIKE THE EXACT SAME FISH AS YOU AND TANK SIZE.LOL.HE HAD AN ANGEL BUT I WOULDNT PUT TWO IN BECAUSE OF THE TANK SIZE THEY WILL BECOME AGRESSIVE AND TERITORIAL. I DONT THINK THE TANG AND ANGEL WILL REALLY GET ALONG THOUGH, JUST BECAUSE THEY LOOK THE SAME, WE TRIED IT AND THEY BECAME DEFENSIVE. AND A FIRE HAWKFISH WOULD BE SO FUN TO HAVE. I AM PLANNING ON GETTING ONE. GOOD CHOICE OF FISH!! BUT NO I WOULDNT MIX THE TWO..
AND SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, I DIDNT REALIZE IT UNTIL NOW.HAHA

and yess i have to say that saltwater is the way to go!!! we just upped our tank to a 180!!!! AHHH SO EXCITED!

I wouldn’t chance it. Adult dwarf angels are very territorial and in the confines of a tank, sparring between them can become lethal.

You can………but I would not. If you do, show caution. Most dwarf angels are semi-aggressive to their own species, so show caution.
