i am setting up a new 29 gallon salt water aquarium. i currently have a blue/green chromis, yellow tailed blue damsel, a coral banded shrimp, a firefish goby, and a couple small hermit crabs. can anyone suggest anything else?

The best would be peronas.
The problem would be the damsels. They can get aggressive as they get larger. But a 29 gallon is a good size, when your tank is ready to accept more fish try looking into a pair of clownfish to fill out the tank.
check out my new forum which is specifically for nano reefs.
Clown fish would be a nice addition….You don’t have to have their sea anemone to survive to thrive to the fullest but that is also a nice addition as well but remember they are poisonous.
Damsels can get aggressive as they get older. They can become territorial.(as said previously by mynanoreef.)
I’d look into buying a six line wrasse. or a pair of clownfish. Or you can get a firefish.
Check out this sites forum, it has some basic facts about some fish.
